WHAT IS A TANDEM HOUSE?
A Tandem House is a second house on a property that the Local Zoning Codes consider equal in stature to the other house on the lot. This means a tandem house can be sold separately from the other house. Also, a tandem house has more ﬂexibility in building design and form than an ADU.
